Anxiety, Life Transitions & Relationships

Maybe it’s the constant hum of worry you can’t turn off. Maybe it’s a life transition that changed faster than you were ready for. Maybe it’s a relationship pattern you keep ending up in, wondering how you got here again. Maybe it’s all three, tangled together.

Whatever it is — it doesn’t have to stay this way.

Something feels off. You’re not sure what — but you know it’s been this way for a while.

You might be in the right place if…

  • You’re anxious more of then than not, even when things look fine on the outside

  • You’ve been through a major change — a move, a career shift, a breakup, a loss — and haven’t found your footing yet

  • You keep ending up in the same relationship dynamics no matter how hard you try to do things differently

  • You say yes when you mean no and don’t quite know how to stop

  • You’re going through a transition nobody prepared you for — divorce, empty nesting, a new role, aging

  • Something has shifted and you can’t quite name what it is yet

  • You hold it together for everyone else and quietly fall apart on your own

What to expect in therapy

I am an honest, grounded, and skills-based therapist. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a primary approach — helping you identify the thought patterns and behaviors that are keeping you stuck and building practical tools to shift them. I also draw on Gottman Method for relationship concerns, Motivational Interviewing to explore ambivalence around change, and Solution-Focused approaches to keep us moving forward.

You don’t have to have it figured out before you show up. That’s what the work is for.
